Rather than a formal religious lecture\, Kerbie draws on stories\, teachings\, and family knowledge passed down through his grandparents\, sharing the faith as it is lived and remembered. \nHe will explore where Zoroastrianism came from\, the teachings of Zarathustra and Ahura Mazda\, the Gathas\, sacred fire (and why it isn’t worshipped)\, Parsi traditions\, the Faravahar\, funeral customs\, and beliefs about the soul’s journey after death. \nYou’ll also hear about Vishtaspa\, Firdausi and the Shahnameh\, the Parsis’ migration from Persia to India\, and the ideas within Zoroastrianism that later influenced other religions.
