Ben has been a long‑distance friend of the community for years, offering support, recommending speakers, and helping us grow from afar.
Now that he’s back in the UK, it’s a pleasure to have him join us for our Anniversary Event.
Folklorist Ben Stimpson will be exploring some of Britain’s most enduring stories about witches and cunning folk, from witches stopping carts, turning into hares, and riding broomsticks, to cunning folk finding lost animals, recovering stolen goods, and undoing witchcraft.
